Location

Springdale, Utah is located in the southwest corner of Utah, about two and one-half hours by car from Las Vegas and eight hours from Los Angeles. Follow Interstate 15 and Utah Highway 9 to Springdale, Utah— our base of operations. Springdale offers numerous excellent restaurants, galleries and shops.

Zion Canyon will be in full fall color presenting an excellent opportunity to expose both color and black & white emulsions. Along with the Virgin River, beautiful meadows, forests, high cliffs, waterfalls, and unique rock formations, Zion offers thousands of photographic opportunities. We'll visit Dick's Secret Canyon, Three Patriarchs, the Great White Throne, the Great Arch, and many other park locations-and all close at hand. Those who are both fit and ambitious may be rewarded by the endless splendor of the park that exists "off the beaten path". Those less inclined to stray too far from our vehicles will not be disappointed.

Workshop

Please bring your prints to share with the group. We will spend our evenings reviewing portfolios, discussing the creative process and have some wonderful surprises for you. This is a great opportunity to trade prints with fellow photographers.
