Each participant and non-participating spouse/companion is introduced to the group. We encourage each to tell us some personal history as well as photographic experience and what they expect from our workshop.  Yes, we encourage and petition a family atmosphere. We have had three children attend a workshop and I must say that all of we adults learned a great deal from each.that's why they are welcome at all our workshops tuition free until age sixteen. Some parents (well you know what I mean) even bring their fluffy puppies!

From the beginning we establish a tone.and that tone is one of trustful enthusiasm and a most relaxed, friendly and encouraging atmosphere. You have perhaps spent the week before the workshop under great pressure, working hard and yearning to get away from that job and do some serious photography.that crazy stuff you love oh so much. It is our job to give you your money's worth of instruction, encouragement and entertainment. We are not perfect but we do our best to satisfy your goals and support your love for the creative art of photography.

Most importantly, you will become a member of our family. You may bring a number of prints and ideas to share with the group and /or instructors. Instructors will be available to critique your images with the group or privately. We all are there to help and encourage your endeavor.  You will learn from the collective talents of the group as well as the instructors.  We will have a number of guest speakers and instructors that you will find extremely fascinating and informative. And let us not forget the entertainment. Our evenings are spent in great contemplations of the creative process, portfolio reviews, sharing images, critiques and reviewing the day's activities.

One should consider that we do have "Entertainment Directors" that are in charge of our "end of workshop socials" and other extra circular activities. They will give you a smile, laugh and make you very happy. 

Our support does not end when the workshop is over. We are all in this together!
